EJ Working Group Engagement Structure

There are many ways to engage with our EJ community. We strive to work in a collective, intergenerational manner and follow EJ principles and practices. Participation is organized at three tiers.

TIER 1: EJWG Information Sharing Network
  • Network members participate in our listserv to receive and share out information about EJ events, activities, conferences, workshops, courses, and direct actions on behalf of EJ movements. Join here. Or follow us on social media. (Medium, Facebook, and Twitter.

TIER 2: EJWG Project Groups
  • EJWG project group members implement our EJ initiatives, both internally at Stanford and externally as we seek to align with local and global EJ movements. To get involved, contact project groups leads, listed here, with a copy to ejwgstanford@gmail.com.

TIER 3: EJWG Coordinating Council
  • EJWG coordinating council members serve as our governing body, guiding our organizational priorities and how we do our work. They also lead project groups and represents the EJWG at the campus level. Our EJWG coordinating council represents about 20 different groups on campus, and is comprised of students, staff, and faculty. Council members  are selected annually after consultation with current members. Please see our website for current council membership.
